Salted Almond Butter FlapjacksCourse: Uncategorized
A healthy sugar and butter free recipe for some amazing homemade flapjacks.
1 1/2 cup rolled oats
3/4 cup almond butter (I used Meridian almond butter)
1/3 cup pumpkin seeds
1/3 cup shredded coconut
1/3 cup dark chocolate chips
5 tbsp coconut flower nectar (or use agave nectar or honey)
pinch of salt
- Pour the almond butter into a mixing bowl with the remaining ingredients and stir to combine with a spoon or spatula. Almond butter and coconut nectar can be used to coat both of the add-ins. Place the flapjack oaty mix in a greaseproof paper-lined baking tray and pat down with the back of a spoon. Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours to set and harden.
- Preheat the oven to 180 and bake for 20 minutes. Allow to cool fully before cutting.
